The computer was a little slow this morning. Plus, remember that thing I said I was going to do yesterday? I got to do it this morning. I met Kevin Matthews. He used to be on AM 1000 in Chicago and I listened to him a lot when I was in college. Yep, I'm a Kevhead.
He is in Grand Rapids now and is on one of the stations in the group of radio stations that has the rights to the Whitecaps. Dave Skoczen, the radio voice of the Whitecaps, took me into the station today and I got to talk with Kevin for about 10 minutes.
His concert at the Riverside in Milwaukee back in 1990 is still one of the best I've ever seen.
Great to meet him and that's why I'm starting a bit late this morning...So, anything happen in the Midwest League last night?
