RH BRETT LORIN was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 5th round of the 2008 draft out of Long Beach State University.
LAST START: Lorin allowed one run on five hits over five innings at Beloit on July 19 for a no decision. He did not walk a batter and struck out five. The game was tied 1-1 when Lorin left the game. Beloit went on to a 7-2 win.
LAST WIN: Lorin got his first professional win on June 22 against the Boise Hawks. He allowed one run on three hits and over six innings in a 2-1 Everett win at home. Lorin struck out 13 and did not walk a batter in the game.
VS. WEST MICHIGAN: Lorin is making his first appearance against the Whitecaps tonight.
VS. TIGERS: This will be Lorin’s first appearance against an affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
