Kernels General Manager Jack Roeder and Horizons CEO & President Scott Jamieson are announcing a collaborative arrangement to continue to produce Meals on Wheels for the area’s elderly during the flood recovery over the next several months.
The Horizons Meals on Wheels program will begin producing approximately 500 hot meals daily Aug. 11 from the Veteran’s Memorial Stadium commercial kitchen for Horizons clients.
Horizons Meals on Wheels program was displaced when eight feet of floodwater filled their commercial kitchen and non-profit headquarters at 819 Fifth St. SE on June 12.
A place to follow the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Midwest League, Minor League baseball, Major League Baseball, and everything in between in that order.
