RH BRETT LORIN was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 5th round of the 2008 draft out of Long Beach State University.
LAST START: Lorin took the loss at West Michigan on July 25. He allowed four runs on seven hits over 3-2/3 innings. Lorin walked two and struck out five, but the Rattler lost 9-4 to the Whitecaps.
LAST WIN: Lorin got his first professional win on June 22 against the Boise Hawks. He allowed one run on three hits and over six innings in a 2-1 Everett win at home. Lorin struck out 13 and did not walk a batter in the game.
VS. LANSING: Lorin is making his first appearance against the Lugnuts tonight.
VS. BLUE JAYS: This will be Lorin’s first appearance against an affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
