That led to this scene:
Kuo Hui Lo hugged teammate Jose Yepez as he scored the winning run.

The usually shy center fielder showed his emotions Thursday night as the High Desert Mavericks rallied to score six runs in the ninth to beat the Inland Empire 66ers 11-10 at Stater Bros. Stadium.
Why the emotion?
“I didn’t want to finish the last home game with a loss,” Lo said. “I tried to win it.”

Lo is leaving for the Beijing Olympics on Sunday night to be a part of the Taiwanese national team. He won’t come back to the U.S. until August 27.

Lo celebrated his departure in a memorable fashion as he finished the game 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs.
