Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of April 13, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 2-5; 5th National League Central): The Brewers lost 7-6 to the Cincinnati Reds at Miller Park. Milwaukee grabbed an early 5-1 lead thanks to four runs in the bottom of the second inning. But, Yovani Gallardo gave up six runs in the top of the third inning and the Reds held on for the win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 2-3; 4th Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds beat Oklahoma City 4-3. Mat Gamel homered and drove in a pair of runs. Tim Dillard allowed two runs (one earned) over five innings and picked up the win.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 1-4; T-4th Southern League South Division): The Stars lost 13-2 to Mobile. The BayBears scored four times in the first inning, four more times in the second frame, and added two runs in the top of the third for a 10-0 lead.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 1-3; T-5th Florida State League East Division): The Manatees lost 6-5 in ten innings at Daytona. Logan Schafer hit a solo homer in the top of the sixth inning to give Brevard County a 5-3 lead. But, the Cubs scored twice in the bottom of the sixth and got the game winner in the bottom of the tenth.
