Bobby Livingston’s Harbor Park night was nearly wasted. The 26-year-old left-hander scattered five hits over seven innings, striking out four, walking one and giving up no runs.

He left the game with a three-run lead in just his second appearance since joining the team May 28.

“I feel bad for him,” Allenson said. “He pitched great, and he probably could’ve gone one more inning. He throws strikes, has a good changeup, kept them off-balance all night.”

And for his efforts, Livingston picked up his second no-decision in as many tries with Norfolk. He was 5-1 with Double-A Bowie before joining the Tides.
