NASHVILLE 6 @Iowa 3: Brendan Katin hit a pair of homers and drove in three runs for the Sounds to lead Nashville (1-0) to a win in their Pacific Coast League opener at Iowa.
SOUTHERN LEAGUE (AA):
@Chattanooga 4, HUNTSVILLE 2: The Stars (0-1) scored twice in the first inning, but the Lookouts scored three times in the bottom of the eighth inning. Brett Lawrie ('09) and Taylor Green ('09) each had an RBI for Huntsville.
