Curtis Granderson's brief rehab to the West Michigan Whitecaps worked out well, but now the Detroit Tigers are faced with another decision that could impact the Whitecaps: Is Dontrelle Willis next?Based on a number of variables -- none of which are controlled by the Whitecaps -- the best answer is that it's a roll of the dice.
But with the Detroit Tiger lefthander expected to make either one or two minor league rehab starts, there is at least a narrow window for Willis to make an appearance at Fifth Third Ballpark.
Willis was a Kane County Cougar back in 2002, when he had just joined the Marlins organization in a trade with the Cubs.
