RHP NATHAN ADCOCK: Selected by the Mariners in the fifth round of the 2006 draft out of North Hardin (KY) High School.
LAST SEASON: Adcock started 2007 with the Timber Rattlers. He was 2-8 with a 3.70 ERA in 17 appearances (16 starts). Opponents scored 60 runs in 87-2/3 innings pitched, but only 36 of those runs were earned. He was promoted to High Desert on July 20 and went 1-3 with an 8.84 ERA in five starts. In his two stops in the Mariner system, Adcock struck out 77 and walked 60 in 106 innings.
LAST START: Adcock gave up two runs (one earned) over six innings with a walk and five strikeouts in the second game of a doubleheader on Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium on April 13 against the Dayton Dragons. However, Adcock was tagged with the loss as Dayton picked up a 3-1 victory.
VS. BELOIT: Adcock faced the Snappers one time in 2007. On April 20, he allowed two runs (neither earned) on four hits with two walks and six strikeouts over four innings. He left with the Rattlers trailing 2-0, but got a no decision. Wisconsin rallied to take a 3-2 lead, but the Snappers scored four in the seventh and two in the eighth and would win the game 8-3.
