Here is how the Timber Rattlers have fared on July 11...since 2000:
2000: The Rattlers were off. Rattler records on this date: 12-7 second half; 50-37 overall
2001: The Rattlers were off. Rattler records after this game: 13-7, 55-33
2002: The Rattlers were off. Rattler records after this game: 2-18, 32-57
2003: The Rattlers won 7-4 at Peoria. Tanner Watson scattered ten hits over eight innings for the win. Rene Rivera had three hits -- including two homers -- and four RBI for the offensive support. Rattler records after this game: 8-14, 46-42
2004: The Rattlers were off. Rattler records on this date: 6-11, 37-49
2005: The Rattlers beat Peoria 12-11 in ten innings at O'Brien Field. This was the game Wisconsin trailed 11-2 heading into the top of the seventh. Five in the seventh, four in the ninth, and one in the eleventh and it was a Rattler win. I know that I've written about this game on the main Rattler site, but I can't find it. Maybe I'll find it later. Rattler records after this game: 9-10, 48-41
2006: The Timber Rattlers were off. Rattler records on this date: 4-15, 31-58
2007: The Timber Rattlers were off. Rattler records on this date: 8-10, 30-56
A 1-1 record with a lot of off days. But, that 2005 win at Peoria is still amazing. Great day in Rattler history.
Edit: Had the July 12 games for 2001 and 2002 in here. Moved them to the right day.
