Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of May 31, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 30-20; 1st National League Central): The Brewers beat the Reds 5-2. Mike Cameron hit his 11th homer of the season and Yovani Gallardo struck out nine for his fifth win. Trevor Hoffman earned his 13th save of the year.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 28-24; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): Nashville beat Omaha 8-4. Brendan Katin hit a pair of homers and drove in five runs for the Sounds.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 29-20; 1st Southern League South Division): The Stars beat Birmingham 3-2. Chris Cody allowed one run on four hits with six strikeouts over eight innings for his fifth win. Huntsville has won eight straight games.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 29-14; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees lost 2-0 to Fort Myers. Brevard County had seven hits, but were shutout by the West Division leaders.
