Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of June 11, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 33-27; 1st National League Central): The Brewers lost 5-4 to Colorado. Aaron Cook allowed one run on seven hits and struck out seven over six innings as the Rockies built a lead. Ryan Braun hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth, but it wasn’t enough to help the Brewers snap their losing streak.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 35-26; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): Nashville beat Memphis 11-3. Brendan Katin drove in four runs and Josh Butler picked up his first win at the AAA level.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 35-24; 1st Southern League South Division): Huntsville lost 2-0 to Jacksonville. The Stars had seven hits, but couldn’t push a run across the plate.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 36-18; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees beat Palm Beach 6-3. Luke Luetge allowed two unearned runs over seven innings for the win.
