That changed Saturday, when the Quad-Cities outfielder waited for his pitch and lined a full-count, bases-loaded single into left field to give the River Bandits a 3-2, 10-inning, walk-off win over Peoria.

South Bend 12 @West Michigan 3: The Fifth Third Ballpark crowd of 7,474 was treated to a double-dose of fireworks Saturday night. The post-game fireworks they thoroughly enjoyed. The pounding the South Bend Silver Hawks put on the Whitecaps in West Michigan's 12-3 loss was hard to stomach.
@Fort Wayne 7, Dayton 1: Fort Wayne improved to 80-39 overall (35-14 in the second half). The 80 wins surpass the previous single-season victory mark of 79, established in 1998.
