SEATTLE (MAJ: 73-56; 2nd AL West): The Mariners lost 6-0 to the Angels. Raul Ibanez (Foxes ’94) had two hits, but Seattle lost their third in a row.
TACOMA (AAA: 65-72; 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers won 7-6 at Las Vegas. Jeff Clement (’05) had three hits and a homer -- one of five in the game for Tacoma. Cesar Jimenez (’03) allowed a run in the ninth, but got the save.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 59-74 overall; 28-35 second half; 5th second half Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Huntsville 5-3. Mike Wilson (’05) homered and Mumba Rivera (’05) got the save for West Tennessee.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 52-81 overall; 21-42 second half; 5th second half California League South Division): The Mavericks were off on Monday.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 30-37; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox beat Salem-Keizer 7-3. Joe Dunigan had three hits, hit a home run, drove in two runs, and scored three for Everett.
AZL Mariners (Rookie: 36-18 overall; 16-10 second half 2nd Arizona League): The AZL M’s beat the Athletics 5-2.
