TACOMA (AAA: 7-4, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers beat Colorado Springs 9-4. Jeff Clement (’05) went 4-for-5 with two hits and two RBI. Matt Tuiasosopo (’05) had two hits and four RBI.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 7-4, T-2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx shutout Mobile 3-0. Michael Saunders (’06) homered and drove in two runs for West Tennessee.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 8-4, 1st California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Lake Elsinore 7-2. Ricky Orta (’07) pitched six shutout innings for his third win of the season. Kuo Hui Lo (’07) homered and drove in a pair of runs.
