SEATTLE (MAJ: 2-2, T-2nd American League West): The Mariners lost 7-4 at Baltimore. Adam Jones (’04) was 1-for-4 for the Orioles in his first game against his former teammates. Cha Seung Baek (’00) allowed three runs in one inning of relief work for the Mariners.
TACOMA (AAA: 1-1, T-3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 5-1 to Sacramento. Bryan LaHair (’04) went 3-for-4 and hit a solo home run for the only Tacoma run.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 1-1, 4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx won 5-1 at Jacksonville. Rich Dorman (’03) got the win by allowing one unearned run on one hit over six innings. Luis Oliveros (’02) had a pair of hits and an RBI for West Tennessee.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 2-0, 1st California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Lancaster 2-0. Travis Scott (’06) had three hits, three RBI, and a home run for High Desert; Kuo Hui Lo (’07) added three hits and two RBI for the Mavs; and Ricky Orta (’07) got the win as he allowed two runs on four hits over five innings.
