Mariner System Report (Games of 4/5)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 2-3, T-2nd American League West): The Mariners lost 6-4 to the Orioles in Baltimore. Miguel Batista took the loss. Adam Jones (’04) drove in a run for the O’s. Eric O’Flaherty (’04, ’05) pitched a scoreless inning with two walks and a strikeout out of the Seattle bullpen.

TACOMA (AAA: 1-1, 4th Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers were rained out at home. They have a doubleheader scheduled today against Sacramento.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 1-1, T-4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx and Suns were rained out in Jacksonville, Florida. The teams will make up Saturday’s game as part of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 2-1, T-1st California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 14-8 to Lancaster. High Desert scored six runs in the bottom of the second inning for a 6-0 lead. But, they could not hold on against the JetHawks. Matt Mangini and Carlos Peguero (’07) both homered for the Mavs.
