I missed it until today

Did you happen to catch the return of Ryan Ketchner ('02)? He was a Southern League All-Star for the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx last year, but I lost track of him when he wasn't on a roster to start the 2009 season.

Ketchner pitched in the rotation, long relief, and a few setup and closing situations with the Rattlers in 2002. He also did a lot of work in the community...from his bio:

Was born partially deaf and has roughly 10 percent of his hearing. ... Wears two hearing aids that help him detect vibrations. ... Is a talented lip reader.

He is in the Detroit organization and playing for the Lakeland Flying Tigers down in the Florida State League.
