Huh?

So, as I'm packing for the road trip, Baseball Tonight is on TV.

The lead story is Barry Bonds getting dinged in the head during batting practice, then going 0-for-4 in the game at Miller Park.

Jason Schmidt pitched a great game for a complete game shutout in a 2-0 win for the Giants.

Who does ESPN get for the phone-in interview? Dave Bush, the Brewer starting pitcher. Bush went eight innings and gave up a two run homer to Pedro Feliz. for a tough loss.

Bush sounded (sacrcastic italic ahead) thrilled to be talking about how he got Bonds out three times in a game that he lost.

I realize that Bonds in three homers from history, but please. Just stop.

One other thing...that trifecta thing with the 20 minute Baseball Tonight mixed in with Outside the Lines and NBA/NFL DRAFT/whatever the heck else 2 Night. Knock it off ESPN.
