The New Orleans @ Nashville game that was suspended after 18 innings early this morning went another six innings before New Orleans finally scored. They retired the side in order in the bottom of the 24th for a 5-4 win. Game time 8 hours 7 minutes.
The box score is here and it ain't pretty if you are a Brad Nelson fan. The former Beloit Snapper went 1-for-10 with seven strikeouts. He should bounce back and he may be up with the Brewers before too long.
I can't figure out how to put the audio on this site yet, but if you go to the Sounds website they have a link to the call of the final out of the marathon.
A couple of former Timber Rattlers were part of this game. Kevin Gryboski (WI '96) worked 1-2/3 innings of scoreless relief last night for New Orleans. Jermaine Clark (WI '98) was 1-for-10 with a run scored and four K's for Nashville.
