SEATTLE (MAJ: 4-6, 4th American League West): The Mariners lost at Tampa 7-0. Seattle managed just three hits in the loss.
TACOMA (AAA: 5-2, 2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers beat Fresno 2-1. Robert Rohrbaugh (’05) pitched six scoreless innings and allowed three hits for the win. Wladimir Balentien (’04) had two hits and drove in a run for Tacoma.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 4-3, T-2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Huntsville 3-2 in a game shortened to five innings by rain. Marshall Hubbard (’05) drove in all three West Tennessee runs, including with a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth. Rich Dorman (’03) pitched all five innings for the win.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 5-3, T-1st California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Inland Empire 11-10. Chris Minaker (’06) homered and drove in four runs for the Mavericks. Travis Scott (’06) knocked in two runs, including the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth.
