Midwest League Action (Games of 4/3)

As far as action in the Midwest League on Opening Night...there wasn't as much as there could have been with three rainouts.

Wisconsin at Quad Cities -- PPD

Kane County at Beloit -- PPD

Cedar Rapids at Clinton -- PPD

But, there were four games. One in the Western Division:

@Burlington 2, Peoria 0: Bee pitchers allowed only two hits for a victory on a cold night at Community Field.

All six Eastern Division teams got their games in last night:

West Michigan 15, @ South Bend 2: Ten runs in the top of the first inning is a good way to get a shot at a threepeat underway for the Whitecaps.

@Fort Wayne 7, Lansing 1: Go figure. Good pitching and hitting leads to a win for the Wizards.

@Great Lakes 5, Dayton 2: Preston Mattingly is back and the Looooooons are happy about it.
