Rattler History July 2-10, 2006

Here is how the Rattlers have fared July 2 through July 10, 2006.

July 2: The Rattlers lost 5-4 in ten innings at West Michigan. Alex Gary tied the game in the top of the ninth inning with a three-run homer. But, the Whitecaps scored a run in the bottom of the tenth for the win.

July 3: The Rattlers lost 5-4 at Southwest Michigan. Eddy Hernandez hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to give the Rattlers a 3-2 lead. But, Cesar Suavez drove in two runs with a double in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Devil Rays the win.

July 4: The Rattlers lost 10-4 at Southwest Michigan. Wade Davis struck out nine over 6-2/3 innings for the win.

July 5: The Rattlers lost 3-2 at Southwest Michigan. The Devil Rays scored twice in the bottom of the eighth off Harold Williams. The first run scored on a wild pitch. The second on a bases loaded walk.

July 6: The Rattlers lost 5-2 at Southwest Michigan.

July 7: The Rattlers lost 6-0 at home to Lansing. Wisconsin had two hits in the game. The Lugnuts put the game away with five runs off Edgar Guaramato in the seventh inning.

July 8: The Rattlers beat Lansing 8-5 at home to break a nine-game losing streak. Alex Gary and Robbie Hudson hit back-to-back homers in the eighth inning.

July 9: The Rattlers beat Lansing 3-0 at home. Paul Fagan allowed three hits over seven shutout innings.

July 10: The Rattlers lost 4-0 to Lansing in Grand Chute. Wisconsin had seven hits. Lansing broke up a scoreless game with one in the seventh, one in the eighth, and a two-run homer by Joey Metropoulos in the ninth.
