Rattler History July 2-10, 2007

Here is how the Rattlers have fared July 2 through July 10, 2007.

July 2: The Rattlers won 9-6 at Quad Cities. Joe White had three hits, including a three-run homer. Nathan Adcock won and Joe Kantakevich worked a scoreless ninth for the save.

July 3: The Rattler game with Cedar Rapids in Grand Chute was rained out.

July 4: The Rattlers swept a doubleheader against Cedar Rapids at home. Wisconsin won game one 9-6. The Rattlers scored five in the third and four in the fourth for the win. The Rattlers won game two 7-0. Ricky Orta pitched a seven inning complete game with nine strikeouts. Juan Diaz homered in a five run fourth inning.

July 5: The Rattlers lost 7-2 to the Kernels at home. Eddy Fernandez gave up three homers in three innings and took the loss.

July 6: The Rattlers lost 6-2 to the Kernels at home. Trevor Lawhorn drove in both Rattler runs.

July 7: The Rattlers lost 3-2 at Kane County. Christian Vitters drove in the winning run with a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth.

July 8: The Rattlers lost 11-8 at Kane County. Wisconsin held an 8-3 lead after the top of the seventh. But, Kane County scored six in the seventh and two more in the eighth. Vitters capped the seventh inning rally with a three run homer off Rollie Gibson.

July 9: The Rattler game at Kane County was rained out.

July 10: The Rattlers were off for the Major League All-Star game.
