Rattler History July 2-10, 2005

Here is how the Rattlers fared from July 2 through July 10, 2005.

July 2:The Rattlers won 6-2 at Fort Wayne. Mike Wilson hit a three-run homer as part of a four-run third inning. That was enough for Casey Abrams, who worked 7-2/3 scoreless innings for the win.

July 3: The Wizards beat the Rattlers 8-3 at Fort Wayne. Omar Falcon drove in two runs for the Rattlers.

July 4: The Rattlers beat Beloit 7-6 in 13 innings in Grand Chute. Mike Wilson had five RBI, including drawing a bases loaded walk in the thirteenth to drive in the winning run. But, that's not the amazing thing. Aaron Jensen was the starter and he allowed 14 hits over 6-2/3 innings...and the Rattlers won. Steve Grasley got the win with 2-1/3 scoreless innings.

July 5: Beloit beat the Rattlers 7-5 in Grand Chute. The Snappers scored four runs in the seventh inning to rally from a 5-3 deficit.

July 6: The Rattlers beat Beloit 5-3 at home. Steve Grasley got the win in relief to go to 5-0.

July 7: The Rattlers lost 9-7 to Beloit at home.

July 8: The Rattlers lost 5-2 at Peoria. Rich Hill was on loan from the Iowa Cubs and struck out 12 Rattlers over eighth innings. Randy Frye took the loss.

July 9: The Rattlers won 10-5 at Peoria. Marshall Hubbard and Omar Falcon homered for Wisconsin. Jensen got the win in relief after Mark Lowe pitched one inning in an attempt to build his arm strength.

July 10: The Rattlers beat the Chiefs 12-10. The Rattlers had leads of 1-0, 5-0, 10-7, and finally 12-10.
