Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 20, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 47-46; T-3rd National League Central): The Brewers lost 8-5 at Pittsburgh. The Pirates scored six runs in the first two innings.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 53-42; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds won 7-6 at Nashville. Adam Heether hit his eleventh homer of the season and drove in a pair of runs.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 49-45 overall, 11-14 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars were off on Monday.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 54-32 overall, 14-8 second half; 1st Florida State League North Division): The Manatees beat Jupiter 2-1 in ten innings. Caleb Gindl homered in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie the game 1-1.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 14-12; T-1st Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers Nicholas Bucci pitched six shutout innings and allowed two hits for the win. Scott Krieger hit his ninth homer of the season for Helena.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 10-14; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers beat the Mariners 5-1.
