Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of August 12, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 55-58; 4th National League Central): The Brewers lost 6-5 to the Padres. San Diego scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning to go up 6-3.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 63-56; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 10-5 at Salt Lake. The Bees scored four runs in the first and three more in the second for the early lead.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 55-59 overall, 17-28 second half; 4th Southern League North Division): The Stars won 6-4 at Mobile. Lorenzo Cain (’09) hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to give Huntsville a 6-3 lead.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 66-41 overall, 26-17 second half; 2nd Florida State League North Division): The Manatees won 8-2 over Dunedin. Amaury Rivas allowed two runs over seven innings for his eleventh win of the season.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 23-23; 3-5 second half; T-3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers beat Ogden 3-2.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 19-23; 7-7 second half; 4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers were off on Wednesday.
