Remember this story from a few weeks ago about the Quad Cities ticket intern who had to finish up a game as the umpire.
Well, a similar thing is going to happen today at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium. Roberto Medina, last night's plate umpire, took a foul ball off his left knee. He finished up the game, but is unable to go today.
The other man in blue today will be Jeff Fahser. Jeff is usually an usher at the Stadium during the summer. He's handled more than his share of Bang for Your Buck nights, so I'm confident he can handle this.
Pre-game show in five minutes. Gotta run.
