From the game notes of the Lansing Lugnuts
Unlucky 13th: Last night was the longest game of the season for the Lansing Lugnuts both in innings and in duration. The 13 innings played topping the season-high of 12 innings, matched three separate times. The four-hour, 14-minute game-time topped the previous high of three-hours, 24 minutes in a 12-inning loss at Great Lakes on July 3.
Extra Anguish in Extra Innings: The Lugnuts are now 0-10 in games lasting extra innings this season, including 0-7 at Oldsmobile Park.
Feeling Better: Yesterday, is was shortstop Tyler Pastornicky returning to the lineup for the Lugnuts after missing two days with strep throat. Today, it's Balbino Fuenmayor getting his name penned back into the starting lineup after missing the entire Cedar Rapids series due to illness.
