Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of July 10, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 44-42; 2nd National League Central): The Brewers lost 12-8 in ten innings to the Dodgers at Miller Park. Mat Gamel gave the Brewers a 6-5 lead with a homer in the eighth inning. But, Los Angeles tied the game with a run in the ninth and scored six times in the tenth for the win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 49-39; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 3-0 to Round Rock. Nashville had four hits in the game.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 47-41 overall, 9-10 second half; 2nd Southern League North Division): The Stars beat Chattanooga 4-3. Donovan Hand allowed a run on nine hits over seven innings for his seventh win of the season.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 49-28 overall, 9-4 second half; 1st Florida State League North Division): The Manatees had their game with Clearwater rained out.

HELENA (SHORT SEASON ROOKIE: 9-8; 3rd Pioneer League North Division): The Brewers lost 7-6 to Idaho Falls. Eric Arnett made the start for Helena and allowed two runs on two hits with four strikeouts, but was not involved in the decision.

AZL BREWERS (ROOKIE: 6-10; T-4th Arizona League East Division): The Brewers beat the Athletics 5-3.
