The Detroit Tigers have suspended West Michigan Whitecaps starting shortstop Gustavo Nunez indefinitely for "conduct detrimental to the organization."They will re-evaluate at the end of the week.
The Whitecaps' leadoff hitter this season, Nunez is fifth in the Midwest League in hitting at .328 and is third in steals with 37.

Wait...What?
One of the opposing players to have made an impression this season has been Gustavo Nunez of the West Michigan Whitecaps. That makes this story, um, interesting.
