Last night in the Midwest League

It was a quiet, too quiet.

West Michigan 2, @Wisconsin 0 -- Short & not very sweet for the Rattlers. Apparently, 15 wins in April is a pretty big deal in Grand Rapids.

@Cedar Rapids 4, South Bend 2 -- Nothing from the hometown paper put on the website, Cedar Rapids?

Fort Wayne @ Beloit -- Suspended Top of 2nd. No Score. Beloit starter Eddie Morlan already had a busy day in 1-1/3 inning with a hit, two walks, and two strikeouts. Not a busy night in the newspaper world, nothing in either paper. Go to the Snapper website for all your suspended game needs.

Clinton @ Kane County (PPD) -- Short but informative.

Dayton @ Burlington (PPD) -- Nothing says welcome to Iowa after a 500 mile bus trip through the night quite like a rainout the first game of a road trip.

Lansing @ Quad Cities (PPD) -- The Swing may have been rained out, but that isn't going to stop the Cardinals from making another roster move. (4th in 5 days in case you are counting).

Southwest Michigan @ Peoria (PPD) -- This is how you write a rain out story for the paper. Oh, and Tim Layden got promoted. This is going to happen to the Chief bullpen as the season continues.
