Mariner System Report (Games of 6/19)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 25-47 4th American League West): The Mariners were off on Thursday.

TACOMA (AAA: 37-36, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers won 8-1 at Las Vegas. Michael Saunders (’06) went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, two RBI, and a homer in his Triple-A debut.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 43-30, 2-1 T-2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx won 4-3 in 11 innings at Huntsville. Greg Halman (’07) homered in the top of the eleventh in his Double-A debut for West Tennessee. Adam Moore (’06) had four hits and a homer for the Jaxx.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 35-39, 3-1 second half T-1st California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 19-7 to Stockton. High Desert’s six game winning streak ended.

EVERETT (Short Season-A: 2-1, T-1st Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox won 7-6 at Spokane. Eddy Fernandez (’07) got the win with three innings of scoreless relief as Everett held on for the win.

PULASKI (Rookie: 3-0, T-1st Appalachian League East Division): Pulaski won 2-1 at Princeton for a three-game sweep. The Mariners have their home opener tonight.

PEORIA (Rookie: Arizona League): The AZL M’s season begins June 22 vs. the AZL Padres.
