Surreal in Davenport

The blogger Pioneer98 was at Saturday's game between the River Bandits and the Snappers. Like a good blogger, Pioneer98 took some photos and did a post at Information Swimming.

The only way in or out was over this temporary pedestrian bridge. There were signs of water on the inside of the park. The warning track in center field and in the left field corner had some water on them that the grounds crews were working on. After all, we did get 3.4" of rain last night. Also, down the right field line, there was a tiny bit of seepage around the temporary flood panels. Nothing seemed unsafe, though.
