Seattle (MAJ: 56-59; 4th AL West): The Mariners lost 14-7 at Texas. The Rangers scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning and eventually built a 12-1 lead. Former Appleton Fox Raul Ibanez hit a three run homer and had a total of four RBI for the Mariners.
Tacoma (AAA – 64-54; 2nd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma lost 11-7 at Portland. Bryan LaHair (WI ’04) had a pair of homers and drove in six runs for the Rainiers. Scheduled Tacoma starter Bobby Livingston was a late scratch and four relievers combined on for nine walks in the loss.
San Antonio (AA – 51-64; 24-23 second half T-3rd Texas League South Division): San Antonio lost 5-1 to Tulsa. The loss was the seventh in a row for the Missions. Sebastien Boucher (WI ’05) tripled and scored the only run of the game for San Antonio.
Inland Empire (High-A – 62-54, 23-23 second half; T-2nd California League South Division): Inland Empire lost 21-0 at Lancaster. Jeffrey Dominguez (WI ’06) had the only two hits for the 66ers. The JetHawks scored ten runs in the fifth and eight more in the sixth.
Everett (Short Season-A – 24-28; 4th Northwest League West Division): Everett lost 8-2 at Boise. The Sox fell behind 7-0 early and could not get back into the game.
AZL M’s (Rookie – 20-21; 6-7 6th Arizona League): The Mariners beat the Cubs 7-4. Alex Liddi was 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Plus, remember that game against the Athletics that wasn't reported a few days ago? It finally has been. The A's won 2-1. No details available for some reason.
