Mariner System Report (Games of 6/12)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 24-42 4th American League West): The Mariners were off on Thursday.

TACOMA (AAA: 32-34, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers won 7-4 at Salt Lake. Tacoma scored six runs in the top of the first inning. Charlton Jimerson had a pair of homers, including a first inning grand slam, to lead the Rainiers.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 39-28, 2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 5-1 to Chattanooga. Michael Saunders (’06) drove in the only West Tennessee run. West Tennessee missed a chance to tie Huntsville for the division lead, as the Stars lost in Jacksonville.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 29-38, 4th California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 3-1 to Rancho Cucamonga. Kyle Parker (’07) allowed two runs (one earned) over 6-1/3 innings, but took the loss as High Desert scored a run in the second.
