Mariner System Report (Games of 6/13)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 24-43 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 7-6 to Washington. Ryan Rowland-Smith (’03) and Mark Lowe (’05) combined to work 5-1/3 scoreless innings out of the Seattle bullpen, but the M’s couldn’t come back from a 7-1 deficit.

TACOMA (AAA: 33-34, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers won 7-6 at Sacramento. Matt Tuiasosopo (’05) had a pair of hits, including a homer, two RBI, and scored three runs for Tacoma and the Rainiers held on for the win.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 40-28, T-1st Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Chattanooga 12-4 in a rain-shortened game. Mike Wilson (’05) homered and drove in five runs for West Tennessee. Rich Dorman (’03) struck out eight and allowed one run on three hits over six innings for the win. The win tied West Tennessee for the North Division lead with Huntsville.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 30-38, T-3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks won 5-4 at Lake Elsinore. Austin Bibens-Dirkx (’06) pitched two shutout innings for the win. Carlos Peguero (’07) had a pair of hits and an RBI for the Mavs.
