Mariner System Report (Games of 6/14)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 24-44 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 5-2 to Washington. The Nationals broke a 2-2 tie with a pair of runs in the seventh inning.

TACOMA (AAA: 34-34, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers beat Sacramento 7-5. Matt Tuiasosopo (’05) had two hits, including a homer, and five RBI. His three run homer tied the game in the seventh and his two-run double in the ninth put Tacoma in front.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 41-28, T-1st Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Chattanooga 8-2. Mike Wilson (’05) had three hits, homered, and drove in four runs. Justin Thomas allowed two runs on seven hits over seven innings for the win.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 31-38, T-3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Lake Elsinore 4-2. Travis Scott (’06) and Carlos Peguero (’07) both homered and Keith Renaud (’07) allowed two runs over five innings for the win, but the bullpen gets the kudos with four scoreless frames.
