Mariner System Report (Games of 6/16)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 24-46 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 6-1 to Florida. Carlos Silva allowed three runs in 4-2/3 innings before being ejected. Kenji Johjima drove in the only Seattle run in the M's eighth straight home loss.

TACOMA (AAA: 35-35, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 8-2 at Sacramento. Charlton Jimerson drove in both runs for Tacoma as their three game winning streak came to an end.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 41-29, T-1st Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx were off on Monday.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 33-38, 1-0 second half T-1st California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Lancaster 8-6. Kuo Hui Lo (’07) homered and drove in two runs for High Desert as the Mavs started the second half with their fourth straight win.

EVERETT (Short Season-A: Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox start their 2008 season tonight at Spokane.

PULASKI (Rookie: Appalachian League East Division): Pulaski’s season begins on Tuesday at Princeton.

PEORIA (Rookie: Arizona League): The AZL M’s season begins June 22 vs. the AZL Padres.
