SEATTLE (MAJ: 21-39 4th American League West): The Mariners lost 5-4 to the Angels. Jose Lopez homered and drove in three runs, but Seattle lost their fourth game in a row.
TACOMA (AAA: 28-30, T-3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers were off on Wednesday.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 36-24, T-1st Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Tennessee 10-6. Johan Limonta (’06) drove in four runs and Mike Wilson (’05) homered for West Tennessee. The Diamond Jaxx trailed 5-3, but scored once in the sixth, three times in the seventh, and four times in the eighth. Jason Mackintosh (’04) pitched 1-2/3 innings of scoreless relief for the win.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 26-34, T-3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 6-5 at Modesto in eleven innings. Carlos Peguero (’07) homered and drove in three runs for the Mavs.
