Mariner System Report (Games of 6/6)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 22-39 4th American League West): The Mariners beat Boston 8-0. Felix Hernandez (’03) pitched six shutout innings for the victory. Raul Ibanez (Foxes, ’94) had a pair of hits and scored three runs.

TACOMA (AAA: 28-31, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers game with Fresno was rained out; doubleheader today.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 37-25, T-1st Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx won 13-12 in ten innings at Huntsville. West Tennessee rallied from a 7-3 deficit early in the game and tied the game 11-11 with a pair of runs in the ninth. Adam Moore (’06) homered twice and drove in six runs, including a two-run single in the top of the tenth for the Diamond Jaxx. Brent Johnson (’05) had three hits and drove in three runs for West Tennessee.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 26-35, T-3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 5-4 to Lake Elsinore. Chris Minaker (’06) had three hits and drove in two runs for the Mavs, but High Desert could not rally.
