The M's are at it again, rushing a raw prospect to a higher level before he's ready, forcing outfielder Greg Halman to Double-A West Tennessee.The editorial comment is Jason's. Here is Carroll's player page with the Mavericks. His Timber career was 15 games, .339 average, .413 on-base percentage, and 10 steals in 13 attempts.
Halman was leading the California League in homers and ranked fourth in steals.
Danny Carroll was activated off the disabled list and sent to High Desert to take Halman's spot on the roster.
Halman had 19 homers this season with the Mavericks.
