Rattler History...Since 2000

Here is how the Rattlers have fared on June 15...since 2000

2000: The Rattlers beat Michigan 4-3 in 15 innings in Grand Chute. Gorky Estrella tied the game 3-3 in the eighth inning with a sacrifice fly. Kris Gundrum drove in the winning run with a double in the 15th. Rattler record after this game: 36-29

2001: The Rattlers beat Michigan 15-2 in Grand Chute. Jamie Bubela had five hits, John Castellano had a homer and four RBI. In all, the Rattlers had 20 hits. Rattler record after this game: 40-26

2002: West Michigan beat the Rattlers 13-2 in Grand Chute. The Whitecaps scored ten (yes, 10) runs in the fourth inning. Rattler record after this game: 30-38

2003: Kane County beat the Rattlers 7-3 at Geneva. The win gave the Cougars the first half title. Wisconsin tied the game 3-3 with three runs in the top of the fifth, but the Cougars came back with three in the bottom of the fifth. Rattler record after this game: 38-28

2004: Dayton beat the Rattlers 10-8 at Fifth Third Field. Dayton scored three in the bottom of the eighth to rally for the win. Hyung Cho had three RBI for the Ratters. Rattlers record after this game: 28-36

2005: The Rattlers beat the LumberKings 17-5 in Clinton. Marshall Hubbard, Matt Tuiasosopo, and Rob Johnson each had three RBI. Asdrubal Cabrera had four RBI. Rattler record after this game: 37-29

2006: The Rattlers split a doubleheader with Quad Cities in Davenport.

GAME ONE: The Rattlers won 2-1. Harold Williams pitched six innings and allowed one run for the win.

GAME TWO: Quad Cities won 2-1. Colby Rasmus drove in a run in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie. Rattler record after this game: 27-40

2007: The Rattlers beat Cedar Rapids 12-3 in Iowa. Carlos Peguero had seven RBI with a pair of two-run doubles and a three-run homer. Rattler record after this game: 20-46

A 5-4 record with some real offensive displays, the 15 inning game and that loss in 2003 make this one of the more memorable dates in Timber Rattler history.
