The Milwaukee Brewers opened their 1982 season on April 9 in Toronto at old Exhibition Stadium.

No doubt in this one as the Crew beat up on the Blue Jays 15-4.

Milwaukee scored six times in the first inning off Mark Bomback. Bomback got only one out in the inning before giving way to Dale Murray.

Later in the inning, Mark Brouhard singled in a run and Molitor had a sacrifice fly and Pete Vuckovich had a 6-0 lead before heading to the mound.

Vuke had a typical outing for him. 6IP, 7H, 3BB, 3K, 4R and the win.

For the game, Cooper and Oglivie both had three hits and four RBI.
