SEATTLE (MAJ: 5-9; 4th AL West): The Mariners lost 6-1 to the Angels. Adrian Beltre hit a home run for the only Seattle run of the game. The M’s have lost six straight games.
TACOMA (AAA: 7-11; T-2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 6-1 at Salt Lake. Oswaldo Navarro (WI ’05) had two hits of the five Tacoma hits.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 7-10; T-3rd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Jacksonville 8-6. West Tennessee rallied with three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning for the win. Marshall Hubbard (WI ’05) drove in three runs for the Jaxx. Craig James (WI ’05) pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the save.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 5-12; 5th California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 15-3 to Lake Elsinore. Aaron Jensen (WI ’05) gave up twelve runs on twelve hits in three innings and took the loss. Johan Limonta (WI ’06) went 3-for-4 to lead the Maverick offense.
