Complete MWL scoreboard for April 18 is HERE.
@Rattlers 3, Beloit 2 (F/11 innings) -- Woo hoo! First home win for the Rattlers.
Burlington 6, @Fort Wayne 4 -- Wizards bullpen couldn't hold a lead, but blows up?
@Lansing 6, Kane County 3 -- Kane County is a very un-Cougar-like 1-10 as the Lugnuts win their seventh in a row.
Cedar Rapids 12, @South Bend 6 -- Fifteen hits for the Silver Hawks wasn't enough as they are 1-9 to start the season.
@West Michigan 4, Clinton 3 (F/11 innings) -- Extra innings in Michigan and a win for the Whitecaps.
@Dayton 5, Quad Cities 2 -- At some point, the Dragons are just showing off. But, 9-0 to start the season is still impressive.
Peoria @ Great Lakes (PPD: Rain) -- Just because there was a rain out doesn't mean there isn't Loooooooons news. The stories are old, but I haven't post links yet. Sandberg couldn't stay away from game; Winger: A ballpark, a diamond, a gem. Sadly that second link does not lead to a column by Kip Winger about Dow Diamond and how they are using Seventeen, Headed for a Heartbreak, and other songs by his band to pump up the fans there.
