Mariner System Report (Games of 7/21)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 54-40; 2nd AL West): The Mariners lost 1-0 at Toronto. Jeff Weaver allowed one run on four hits over eight innings and took the loss. Seattle’s offense managed three hits.

TACOMA (AAA: 43-56; 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers were tied 3-3 in the eighth inning of the first game of a double header with Las Vegas when rain suspended play.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 44-56 overall; 13-17 second half; T-4th second half Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Mobile 9-4. Mike Wilson (’05) had three hits and drove in a pair of runs for West Tennessee.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 39-61 overall; 8-22 second half; 5th second half California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 6-5 at Lake Elsinore. High Desert was down 6-0 heading into the seventh inning, rallied, but fell short. Travis Scott (’06) had three hits and scored a pair of runs for the Mavs.

EVERETT (Short Season-A: 13-19; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox were swept in a double header with Boise. The Hawks won game one 6-3 and the nightcap 4-1.

AZL Mariners (Rookie: 17-7; 1st Arizona League): The AZL M’s were off on Saturday.
