Mariner System Report (Games of 6/11)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 24-42 4th American League West): The Mariners won 2-1 at Toronto. Felix Hernandez (’03) allowed one unearned run with eight strikeouts over eight innings for the win. Raul Ibanez (Foxes, ’94) drove in the tie-breaking run in the top of the ninth. JJ Putz (’00) came on for the save, but left with an injury.

TACOMA (AAA: 31-34, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 7-5 at Salt Lake. Matt Tuiasosopo (’05) drove in two runs for Tacoma, but the Bees broke a 3-3 tie with three runs on the bottom of the fifth.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 39-27, 2nd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Chattanooga 3-1. Ryan Ketchner (’02) allowed one run over 5-1/3 innings for the win and Matt Mangini drove in a pair of runs to keep the Diamond Jaxx one game behind Huntsville in the division race.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 29-37, T-3rd California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Rancho Cucamonga 5-1. High Desert broke a 1-1 tie with four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Carlos Peguero (’07) drove in the first run of the seventh.
