Here is how the Timber Rattlers have fared on June 11...since 2000

2000: The Rattlers won 7-5 in ten innings at Beloit. A sacrifice fly by Kris Gundrum in the top of the ninth inning tied the game 5-5. Ryan Christianson drove in two runs in the top of the tenth. Rattler record after this game: 35-28

2001: Lansing won game one of a doubleheader in Grand Chute by a score of 8-6 in nine innings. Joe Dusan tied the game 6-6 with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh, but Dan Head allowed a pair of runs in the top of the ninth. Earlier in the game, Ray Sadler hit a grand slam off Erik Grunwald.

Game two was scheduled to be played, but a severe thunderstorm burst through the area. Not only was game two postponed, the teams, the fans, the members of the front office, and the radio broadcasters were forced into the shelters at the stadium until the storm moved through. 2002: The Rattlers won 3-2 at Peoria. Juan Done, Dan Head, Ryan Ketchner, and Ramon Royce combined on a four hitter. Chris Collins had three hits, scored a run, and drove in a run for Wisconsin. Rattler record after this game: 29-35

2003: The Rattlers spent an off-day on the road as they prepared for a first-half ending series in Kane County with the Western Division title on the line. Rattler record on this date: 36-26. Kane County record on this date: 39-27

2004: The Rattlers split a doubleheader with South Bend at home.

GAME ONE: Wisconsin broke a 4-4 tie with five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Mike Nesbit doubled in the first run of the inning. Adam Jones followed with an RBI single and it was off to a 9-4 win.

GAME TWO: The Silver Hawks won 7-5. Wisconsin led 4-2 heading into the top of the seventh. South Bend scored five runs on six hits in the seventh for the win. Rattler record after this game: 26-34

2005: The Rattlers lost 7-5 to Cedar Rapids in a rain-shortened game. Cedar Rapids scored five runs in the third inning off Aaron Jensen and two more in the sixth. Rattler record after this game: 35-27

2006: The Rattlers lost 7-4 at Lansing. The Lugnuts scored four in the third and three in the fourth. Anthony Hatch drove in three runs for Lansing. Rattler record after this game: 25-38

2007: The Rattlers lost 3-0 at Quad Cities. Jamie Landin hit a pair of homers and drove in all three runs for the SWING. Eddie Degerman, Shaun Garceau, and Kenny Maiques combined on the five hit shutout. Rattler record after this game: 17-45

A 3-5 record and the severe storms in 2001 at least make today memorable in Rattler history...since 2000.
